A New CODEMAY Product

We have been very busy over here at CODEMAY. I wanted to take a moment and share one of the many things we’ve been working on. As someone who has run thousands of digital marketing campaigns, one of the biggest issues I run into is converting clicks into actual leads. Anyone who’s run Google or Facebook Advertising campaigns knows that you can adjust your ad, your targeting, your budget (pretty much everything) but if your landing page isn’t good, you might as well just burn money.

What am I talking about? What is a landing page? Well, a landing page is actually any page one lands on when they click a link. Your website’s homepage is technically a landing page. What I am talking about here is the page a person is directed to so you can collect their information, and then usher him/her through the sales funnel. I can’t stress just how important this part of your digital strategy is. Google bases, in part, where your ad ranks compared to other advertisers on how relevant your landing page is. Facebook gives a score, called Relevancy Score, in part on how that landing page performs.

Imagine if you saw an ad for a new products and you were interested in getting more information. You click on the link and it takes you to the landing page, and what if that landing page had nothing to do with the ad you saw? You’d probably get a little annoyed and leave. That’s what happens a lot. An average landing page should convert about 5% of the people who visit. A GREAT landing page will covert between 10% & 11% of the time. Unfortunately, a lot of landing page only convert around 1%. Again, I can’t stress just how important this is.

We’ve been working diligently on creating a system where we could easily, and very quickly, create landing pages to serve our digital advertising clients. The system is called CODEMAY Clicks, and we’re currently testing it out. The plan is to make this available to anyone running a digital campaign. By using CODEMAY Clicks, anyone will be able to choose from a list of templates, then customize just about every aspect of their landing page, including logo, copy, color, links, and even embedding tracking pixels from any digital platform. If you run multiple campaigns, you can have completely separate landing pages with different messages to support each individual campaign. And unlike most digital marketing companies, we don’t charge for every landing page you create. Having a subscription gives you total access.

This system will become a standard part of all CODEMAY Digital Marketing services, and will be available to all of our clients. And when we’ve ironed out all the kinks, we’ll release it for everyone to use. We’re working on many more templates, and can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Oh, and that’s not all we’ve been working on. Stay tuned…
