You know the old saying: “When you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.” CODEMAY has been learning that lesson every single day. Over the last month or so, CODEMAY has been busy with tons of new projects, a new website, new clients, and a little motorcycle riding.
New CODEMAY Website
We’ve had the great opportunity to work with our go-to designer, Isaiah Bowling. His clean, modern designs have really set the tone for all the work we do at CODEMAY. After completing a few projects, we decided to take a step back and look at our own website. We are all excited about the finished site, which does a great job of taking a little piece of each person at CODEMAY and mixing it all together. If you haven’t had the chance to look around, do so. You might find a secret link to some fun and games. (Hint: look for a symbol that looks out-of-place.)
The CODEMAY Digital Marketing Dept. has found itself very busy handling accounts from all over the U.S. Some highlights include helping fitness franchise locations receive over 400% more digital leads than same-franchise location just a few miles away. We’re excited to continue the amazing growth in the area, and can’t wait to work with more small-businesses.
International Boutique Fashion Brand
CODEMAY landed its first international client, Rika by Ulrika Lundgren, a high-end boutique fashion brand headquartered in Amsterdam. Their website, RikaStudios.com showcases their look book, e-commerce store, online magazine, and even their small hotel in Amsterdam. We started working with Rika to help them with development issues they were experiencing after having worked with several developers who over-promised and under-delivered. We went through their site, button-by-button, cleaning up functionality issues on the site until the site worked as they had intended it to. We’re very excited to be working with this brand, and are looking forward to the amazing things we can make together.
Country Album Cover Design
One thing we hate to say at CODEMAY is “No.” One of our first clients asked if we would be interested in designing the cover artwork for singles produced by her new country music label. Our response: “Sounds like fun.” Little did we know our favorite designer had some experience designing album covers. We won’t name-drop the artists he’s designed for, but we’ll just say the dog days are over. In the end, our client couldn’t be happier with the work we were able to produce for her.
We believe it’s important to not only love what you do for work, but love what you do in life. As avid motorcycle riders, the Co-Founders of CODEMAY never miss a chance for a good motorcycle ride. Andre took a few days and rode his Ducati Monster up the Pacific Coast from our Orange Country office up to San Francisco, stopping along the way to experience everything the Pacific Coast has to offer, including Pismo Beach, Big Sur, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Jaime continued his tour of the Pacific Northwest by riding throughout Oregon, Idaho and Washington. Hopping on his Harley-Davidson, Jaime started at our Portland office, travelled down to Bend, OR, up to Athol, ID, over to Seattle, then turning south to travel down the coast to Cannon Beach, OR, and finally back to Portland. His entire trip covered about 1,400 miles of some of the most beautiful spots in America.
That’s what we’ve been up to. We look forward to sharing some of the amazing projects we’re working on now and keeping you up-to-date as we slowly conquer the world.
