Before I begin, I have to tell a little story about my first experience with Yoga. For years I thought practicing Yoga was just some hippy way of stretching. And then people started telling me they were practicing Yoga in heated rooms, and I thought they were even more hippy than before. It wasn’t until about a year or so ago that I actually tried Yoga. A boss of mine was a certified Yoga instructor, who practiced just about every morning in our office gym, and she decided to teach a Yoga class to anyone in the office who wanted to try. I learned 3 things that morning:
- Yoga is not just hippy stretching
- Don’t do Yoga right after you work out your arms at the gym
- Yogis can kick my butt
Needless to say, I gained a new found respect for the art of Yoga, and started to understand the beauty in it.
Fast forward to a couple of months ago when we were approached to build a site for Tim Senesi, an already established YouTuber with 70,000 subscribers to his channel of weekly Yoga videos designed to be done at home. People from all over the world spend time with Tim each week going through sessions designed for all sorts of things. I was excited for the opportunity to work on a project like this, as it was the epitome of what we at CODEMAY do: Connect People to Brands.
As with a majority of our websites, Yoga With Tim was designed by Isaiah Bowling, a designer who inspires us with the work he creates. His mission was to create a site that harnessed the elegance and simplicity of the Yoga With Tim brand, but also acted as a way for Yoga With Tim to promote the rest of their offerings besides free YouTube Yoga videos. The site mixes a blend of free content for the casual user with CTAs to subscribe to premium content, and sign-ups for exotic Yoga retreats in Costa Rica.
We’re excited to see everything the Yoga With Tim brand does with this website, and it will probably end up being a CODEMAY tradition to follow along with Tim’s videos for some mid-day, in-office Yoga. If you want to try Yoga for the first time, or are a seasoned practitioner, you should definitely subscribe to Yoga With Tim.
